thread and sinew-sewn; collar embellished with red and black wool and deer tail; two beaded medallions and trade wool squares decorate the lower hem of the garment; fringe-lined seams; with an old collection tag: Indian woman's dress. Presented to Col. E. Rice, U.S.A. by "White Bull" War Chief of the Northern Sioux...Col. Edmund Rice, U.S.A., February 12, 1884.
